Connecting students with organizations @InternMee

The significant role of internships in preparing students for the world of work can’t be emphasized enough. Having said that, finding a suitable internship is mostly a hassle for high school students.

The budding entrepreneur, Shloka Ashok (16 YO) in partnership with her friend Tara Kapur, has developed a platform called InternMee that connects school students with organizations offering internship and extra-curricular opportunities. This duo is all set to connect students with organizations and build an ecosystem of internships. The entire platform is run by high school students while juggling with online classes, assignments and exams.

“Our interactive platform connects midsize to large corporations, student-run organizations, start-ups, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from various sectors with high school students from across India. Organizations have the opportunity to engage and interact with today’s youth through our platform. Young interns provide valuable support and assistance to the employees of these organizations,” Shloka said.

Check out this post to know about the journey of InternMee, the challenges faced and future plans.
