Project ‘AMBER’ to strengthen the skilling ecosystem

To empower India’s youth with industry-relevant skills and prepare them for employment opportunities, the initiative ‘AMBER’ has been launched. We all have heard so many times about bridging the gap between ‘relevant skills’ and ‘employability’; with project AMBER (Accelerated Mission for Better Employment and Retention) this seems possible now. The collaborative effort of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Generation India Foundation (GIF) aims to have a skilled youth, higher placement and retention rate and prepare youth for resilient job roles in a post-COVID economy.

“Project AMBER is an ambitious effort to train, place and support Indian youth into jobs that will provide life-changing stability for them and their families, and we are delighted to be part of it,” said Mona Mourshed, Global CEO of Generation India.
