ISRO is currently accepting registrations for a free one day course on Satellite Altimetry. The course is open to professionals in hydrometeorology as well as interested students. It will be conducted on 27 Oct 2021 and can also be attended live on YouTube.
“The intent of the course is to familiarize participants with satellite altimetry and its applications for monitoring of lake, reservoir volume and water level, stage-discharge of rivers and hydrological modelling. An overview of advanced remote sensing techniques of altimetry and geospatial technology use for quantitative assessment and monitoring of inland water bodies will also be given”
