Metaverse, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are the buzzwords you hear now and then these days. The education sector is not an exception. In partnership with the tech giant, Meta, CBSE is gearing up to put the roadmap to train a record number of teachers and students for digital safety, online well-being, AR and VR in the next three years.
This initiative stems forms a vision of universalising STEM education. AR and VR skill subject will be integrated with STEM, expected to have attributes of experiential learning to it as recommended by National Education Policy (NEP), 2020.
